Co-operative, who aim to further the use of drama in a Christian context in the Folkestone area, by providing training in a relaxed and friendly environment and by providing a resource that the churches of the Folkestone area can use. StageOne is a partner organisation to Churches Together in Folkestone.

StageOne would like to invite you to our Open Evening

(Tuesday 20th July 2010)

Taking place at Sandgate Road Methodist Church, Folkestone from 7.30pm-9.30pm

There will be a variety of live presentations and static displays showing the range of drama activities we are engaged in, and what StageOne can offer as a resource to local Churches and groups to enhance their worship, mission, outreach, etc. We are an ecumenical group who meet on Tuesdays from 7.30pm and are always delighted to welcome new friends whatever their level of experiencein matters dramatical!

Please feel free to drop in and see us on Tuesday 20th July, even if only to stay for a short while. We look forward to seeing you join with us - refreshments will be available. The invitation is open to all those involved in Church ministry and leadership, aswell as anyone interested in anything 'dramatic'!

John Simpson to climb Mount Kilimanjaro (September 2010)

“In September 2010 John Simpson, StageOne Publicity Officer, will be climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care. The 6-days of trekking will take him to the official summit of Kilimanjaro – Uhuru Peak – which is, at 19340 feet above sea-level, the highest point in Africa and makes Kilimanjaro the world’s highest free-standing mountain.
